I have an instructor from the outside who is coming in to teach the conference. How do I get the correct name to show in the Instructor field?
The Instructor field found in a conference record identifies the person teaching or hosting the conference. From this field's drop-down menu, only previously-created counselor records are available for selection. If the instructor is not a counselor within your organization, but rather someone coming in from the outside, you can create a special "Instructor" counselor record type that will only show up for selection from a conference record’s Instructor field. In other words, “Instructor” counselor records will not be available for selection from the drop-down menus of any of the Counselor fields found throughout WebCATS.
To add an instructor-type counselor record, select Add|Counselor from WebCATS’ left-hand menu and fill out information as appropriate, making sure to select “Instructor” from the Type field’s drop-down menu, as shown in the next graphic.
